I'd like to invite everyone to join a new group on my.barackobama.com, the Obamanators. The Obamantors welcome all members, but our main goal is to energize moderate voters of both major parties (and Independents, too) supporting Senator Obama to really get involved in the process.
Many moderates are disheartened by the extreme positions taken by the vocal elements of the parties. This is why moderates so often go unheard--and think that they cannot have an impact on the process. But the truth is, there are a lot of us who consider ourselves moderate, and want a political system that seeks consensus through rational thought and discussion.
Join the Obamanators and let people know that moderates care and are willing to work hard to get Barack Obama elected. Senator Obama represents the thoughtful and caring approach to goverment that moderates often feel is missing.
